With profound regret and sadness, the trustees of Charityworks announce the closure of the Charityworks Leadership Development Programme and the 2027 Programme with immediate effect. Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Board of trustees, the charity is no longer able to deliver the Programmes.
We are in the process of contacting those directly affected: initially our current trainees, our current host organisations and applicants to our Programmes who are our immediate priority.
The Board is working urgently with its legal advisers to understand the position fully and determine the most responsible way forward. We appreciate that this will be concerning news for many people. We will provide further information as soon as possible.
The Charityworks Board has provided this initial briefing for current host organisations for the Leadership Development Programme and the 2027 Programme.

How it works

You provide a real full-time job lasting at least 12 months, in almost any business function, from the frontline to business development, fundraising, communications, HR, finance and many more. You can fill an existing vacancy, or develop a new opportunity depending on your needs.

We’ll undertake a deeply considered matching process with over 15 years’ experience getting the right candidate for the right opportunity. We’ll introduce you to an excellent candidate matched by the right skills, ambition and a strong alignment to your mission.
3.
After interviewing and confirming your trainee, we’ll support them during their job by providing them with an ILM-recognised leadership programme with mentoring, peer coaching, conferences and undertaking research to benefit your organisation.
